Products
We started selling chemicals following requests from clients where we had solved problems. This means that the range of chemicals that we supply tends to grow as we get requests to add to our range.
There are some products that we would like to supply, but the market price means that a small supplier like Papertex cannot be competitive. We do however endeavour to recommend other suppliers with good products, and on occasions we work closely with other chemical companies to establish their products when that makes sense for the customer. In all cases, the customer is king - their needs are paramount in choosing the right product for any application.
We do sell a number of products however, including:
Coagulants - for water treatment, dye fixation, charge control, or as an Anionic Trash Collector (ATC). We can supply polyamines, polyDADMAcs and inorganic materials.
Flocculants - for water treatment, sludge dewatering, retention and drainage aids, filtration aids, etc.
Wet strength resins - at present we have only sold PAE resins, but we could add MF or glyoxylated PAM resins to our range if there was a demand.
Sizing chemicals - We presently sell ASA and AKD sizes. With a strong expertise in ASA sizing, this tends to be a key product in our range.
Dry strength resins - based on polyacrylamides
Dyes - we have a very close relationship with Farbenchem, and as a result can offer dyes for a range of applications, including paper.
Defoamers - We have a range of defoamers suitable for water treatment, pulp or paper applications.
